Terry Jones

Born in Colwyn Bay on 1st February 1942. Started at the school in 1953 and left in 1961 having been Captain of Boxing, Captain of Rugby and School Captain. Although gaining a degree in History from Oxford University, his great love at this time seems to have been the entertainment industry and it was at this time that he met Michael Palin. He went on to be a founder member of Monty Python. Terry Jones has also written a very authoritative book on Chaucer's Knight's Tale and introduced a number of serious historical documentaries on television including The Crusades.
