Hockey Success Continues

LATEST NEWS: The U16 Hockey team today (10 March) competed in the South Heats of the National Schools Championships. Having beaten RGS High Wycombe 2-0, we then lost to Lewes Old Grammar School. This left us hoping that the RGS High Wycombe would beat Old Lewes, thus leaving us needing to beat Eton College (the other team in the group) by more goals than RGS High Wycombe beat LOGS.
RGS High Wycombe won 2 - 0, whereas we beat Eton College 5 - 0 to progress to the South Semi-Final (the last 16 of the National Cup). Victory in this game would (hopefully will...) see us in the National Finals!
Congratulations to the team and to Nick Gough who has worked incredibly hard with the boys this year.
Previous Story: This year's U16s have continued a very healthy recent trend by becoming Surrey County Champions.
Having beaten Caterham 2 - 0 in the semis, they went on to record an excellent 3 - 1 victory over Cranleigh in the final.
Congratulations to all the team and also to Mr Baggs in his first season as Head of Hockey and Mr Gough as the Coach.
